While all the ladies were getting ready at MJ's Studio. The gentleman were busy getting everything ready and themselves of course. The value of having many people on our team is that all the ladies can get ready here, plus we have Hair and Makeup by Erin Baker. Michael, my husband, second shooter, drone photographer, and now also getting to do some videography was with the guys all morning being able to capture their fun while myself and Kristi are able to be at the studio to capture all the excitement with the girls.

Once we all gathered via limo at the venue the excitement builds with the first look with Jaynie's dad and of course the groom, formal and fun portraits with our wedding party.

The ceremony was full of laughter and stories too.

Once the formal "I do's" are done it's off to party with lots of wonderful food, desert, music and dancing too.

Tyler and Renee's wedding day blog

Tyler and Renee's wedding day was nestled in the hills of Eugene area at a private location where all of their friends and family gathered to celebrate them their special wedding day.

Tyler is very much into restoring cars, along with his friends and father as well. We got to use these for our props and get away car too.

Our bride Renee got ready inside our studio with Hair and makeup by Erin Baker. It was relaxed with lots of laughter and snacks. The beautiful wedding dress from Blush Bridal Studio in Eugene, Oregon.

Michael (2nd photographer) took over at the venue with detail photos with our drone and photographing the groom and guys enjoying their morning being silly and getting ready.

Renee Walker was our third shooter this day and while newer to the wedding photography business, she is a joy to watch in action with her excitement of every photo she takes. I enjoy having her with us and bouncing ideas off each other for creative fun.

Dawsen and Grace's wedding day was filled with excitement and laughter. The venue was a private property nestled in the woods surrounded by family and friends. Their friends made the traditional 4th of July weekend hamburger and hotdogs. Ice cream was the desert of choice along with a small cake to cut for the bride and groom. The dress was by Blush Bridal. Alexis and Zach had so many challenges of 2020. With the wedding date being and venue being moved and then one week before the wedding the McKenzie River Church property is in the fire zone. Wedding was not rescheduled but moved to our back yard. With their wedding rescheduled multiple times in 2020, 9-19-20 was finally the day. Emerald Valley Golf Resort made sure everything was perfect for our couple. Hair and Makeup for all ladies was a combined effort from Carol Turanski along with her team from Salon Delange and Erin Baker was in charge of the bride and mother of the bride. DJ Stultz provided all the sound and music. Grays Florist had the most beautiful colors in flowers and matched the decorations so perfectly. The cake and cupcakes were amazing from Sweet Life. PJ and Janna's wedding was full of happy tears and laughter. From the grooms unexpected gift from the bride, the tearful vows, the surprise dog figure eating their wedding and so much more. We can't say enough wonderful things about the Venue Deep Woods. The setting outside and inside was perfect from large trees and the fall feel in the air to the beautifully decorated ceremony area by the fireplace. Decorated by Glass Slipper Rentals. Flowers by Julie Haskin added the perfect pop of color. Hair and makeup by Erin Baker, Cupcakes and cake by Black Blossom, Catering by Billy Macs and all the wonderful sound of DJ Berry McGuire. This was by far one of the most special ceremonies any of us have witnessed. Ricky and Amber's best day ever started early in the morning with preparations for the day. The Groom's parents prepared all the food themselves. Cake by Frost and Flour, Dress by David's Bridal, Groom's attire by JC Penny men's wear, DJ Rising Phoenix, Venue Private property Air BNB owned by Jim and Robin Gruver, Wedding props, chairs/tables/linens etc provided by Glass Slipper Rentals,Photographer Michelle Jackson, 2nd photographer and drone photographer/pilot Michael Jackson, Videographer Kristi Seanor with A Slice of Life Photography. The backdrop of this beautiful property was so perfect for their wedding. Having to move their wedding date and venue last minute was just one of the things 2020 has challenged our couples with. They changed everything so quickly and smoothly with a crew to help put the details together and clean up too! We are so happy their wedding was the weekend before all the fires, because these sweet owners Jim and Robin Gruver, of this amazing place are now evacuated. My heart hurts for them and our hope is that when they return to their home the fire will of missed it completely. Ricky and Amber had the wedding that they dreamed of and waited for. This year has been especially challenging for our couples, but Jordan and Kayla just rolled with it! Josh and Meara's Oregon Spring Wedding

We started the day with sun and laughter while getting ready with our Bride Tribe. Erin Baker was finishing up the brides Hair and Makeup.

Michael and I photographed all the important details and listened to the stories of each item.

From the very pillow that the brides grandparents rings where carried down the isle to the grooms ring being the brides grandfathers.

Church St. Paul Catholic Church is very special for this couple. They both are teachers there and their siblings married there as well.

Emerald Valley Golf Resort was the perfect reception backdrop. It allows stunning views from under the rainy Oregon Spring weather.

The ballroom is beautiful and no detail is left out.

Our DJ Steve with Only the Best Sound was there to keep the party fun with a very popular photo booth as well.

Survivor Denise Barrett, She was diagnosed the fist time one year after her son was born. Only 30 years old herself and in shock, it took over a year to find out what was wrong. After removing a football size cancerous tumor from her uterus, she started treatment. Going through treatment and being a single mom was hard but it made me strong enough to fight. Also diagnosed with Papilary cancer after having a golf ball sized tumor removed from thyroid, she now has been cancer free for 8 years now.

Lydia Gillis Photography and I had a wonderful time at Along Came Trudy as everyone joined in to help support the Oregon Cancer Foundation. Building a Bra to be put on display online for voting the entire month of October! The Reveal party of all bras will be October 3rd at Dandelions Flowers at 4:00pm. The final event "Girls Night Out will be Friday November 3rd, 5:30 pm at Venue 252, where bra winners will be announced and a fun night for everyone! Tickets are $35. Come on out to help Cancer patients locally!

"Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue"

Felicia's "Old" was her diamond necklace, given to her by her dad, who passed away when she was 16. Her "New" was her wedding dress. Her "Borrowed" was her veil, which was her Matron of Honor, Erin's, veil from her wedding 3 years ago. Her "Blue" was her navy blue ribbon sash.

The Pendent attached to Felicia's bouquet is a picture of her dad, along with her birthstone, and her dad's birthstone. The pendent was a gift from Felicia's Aunt, her dad's sister.
